Year 3 Tennis Tony Blair Challenge Cup @ Cardinal Hume Catholic School

The second Tony Blair Challenge took place at Cardinal Hume Catholic School on the 1st May. Seven teams from a combined four schools partook within the competition. St Peters, St Oswald’s, Carr Hill and St Anne’s all gave 110% on the day which was proven by the tough competition but overall the enjoyment on the day.

All teams allocated points through set challenges as well as matches against the opposite schools.

At the end of the day all of the points were counted and Carr Hill (A) finished first, a big congratulations to them as they will progress to the Gateshead finals which will be held at Blaydon Tennis Club on the 15th May.

All teams should be proud of their efforts throughout the day a big well done to everybody!
