U15 Boys Lawn Bowls Competition

Following the success of the U13 Boys Competition, the first ever U15 Boys Lawn Bowls Competition took place at Lyndhurst Lawn Bowls Club. 10 representatives from Lyndhurst gave all of the pupils from Lord Lawson an introductory to the sport. Once complete, pupils took part in a pairs competition, each team played 3 games.

All of the pupils picked up the game within minutes and the tournament finished even closer than the U13 Boys competition. 3 teams were tied on points and the top 2 teams were inseparable which lead to the only possible outcome 1 final end to determine the winner, Sam and Nathan were up 2 shots with Evan and Morgan left with 1 bowl to be delivered and that's all it took for Evan and Morgan to snatch victory out of the jaws of defeat.

To support the 2015/16 season, Lyndhurst Lawn Bowls Club will be providing Gateshead Secondary Schools free taster sessions in the build to each competition with the aim to create a Lyndhurst Lawn Bowls Youth Team - WATCH THIS SPACE.
