Big Dance Schools Pledge 2012

Congratulations to all schools who participated on 18 May. The Big Dance Schools Pledge took place at 1pm British Summer Time. This was a Guiness World Record attempt for the 'Largest Simultaneous Dance Routine - Multi Event'. 

Schools around the world went to their school halls, playgrounds, playing fields or to public spaces and performed the Schools Pledge Choreography. The current record is held by the Netherlands with 264,188 people and 1,472 locations. 

Schools from across Gateshead and the world participated in this event and data is currently being submitted and collated to ascertain whether or not the world record has been broken
