BTT Logo Competition Winner Announced

As part of our London 2012 legacy project; Blazing The Trail (BTT), school pupils were put to task and asked to submit designs as part of our BTT Kite Mark Design Competition. Once identified, the winning design would be digitised and used as the basis for future BTT awards. 

The competition proved extremely popular with close to 1,000 submissions in total.  The overall standard of designs was exceptional and this made it extremely difficult to identify a winner at the first attempt. 

So difficult was this decision that a shortlist of the top 30 entries was drawn up. After much deliberation, the eventual winner was announced as a Year 6 pupil from Ryton Junior School.  The initial design and subsequent digital re-creation are pictured below.  Full details of the winning design and the top 30 designs shortlisted can be view using the following link to the resources section of this website;
