The Year 8 final consisted of Cardinal Hume, Emmanuel College and Lord Lawson. It was Emmanuel College's turn to enter the field annd they played Lord Lawson in their opening fixture, another very close game with Emmanuel College going down by another single try - the game ended 5-4 to Lord Lawson. All to play for in the final fixture (Cardinal Hume Vs Lord Lawson) with both teams narrowly beating Emmanuel College. Lord Lawson started the game firmly on the front foot, quick hands and quick feet ensured they scored 2 early tries the game continued in this fashion but Cardinal Hume had a resolute defence restricting Lord Lawson to a 3 try lead at half time. Lord Lawson started quickly and the score went to 6, Cardinal Hume never gave up and continued to drive Lord Lawson back and deservedly scored a try in the final play of the game. Three fantastic games and Lord Lawson were deservered winners of the Year 8 Boys Rugby Union CVL 2015/16.

The Year 9 final consisted of Thorp Academy against Lord Lawson. Lord Lawson started the game in the same fashion as their Year 8 team quick to the tackle and some great possession play. Thorp Academy struggled to deal with the early pace set by Lord Lawson and teams went in at half time 7-5 in Lord Lawson's favour. After the break both teams were evenly matched and the scores went to 12-10 after both teams scored unconverted tries.
