BREAKING NEWS: Primary PE & Sport Premium
We are delighted to share news from the Department for Education regarding their continued investment in physical education and school sport.
As part of this:
-Confirmation has been given that the Primary PE & Sport Premium funding will be continued for the next 2 academic years (2023-24 & 2024-25). An investment of more than £600 million over this period will provide continued support to schools in developing opportunities their PE & School sport provision.
-A new digital tool will be introduced for schools to report on their spending of the Primary PE and Sport Premium, designed to support with accountability and effective use of the funding.
-Schools will be asked to offer a minimum of two hours curriculum PE time.
