Year 5/6 Sportshall Athletics FINALS
Today we were at Gateshead Stadium for our Sportshall Athletics Finals! Joining us were 10 qualifying schools from across the burough. These were the highest scoring teams from our three qualifying events.
Our competitors took part in events on both the track and field side of the sportshall, with different relay races on the track and an array of jumps and throws on the field.
The standard was extremely high across all disciplines and we were very impressed with the athletics skills on display across the event. Well done to all those pupils involved!
We would like to congratulate all ten teams for making it to the finals, this is an excellent achievement in itself!
A special congratulations to our winners, the team from Front Street, and our runners up, Harlow Green, who have qualified through to the Sportshall Athletics County Finals. Best of luck!
